Khloé writes like she talks, so you'll feel you are listening to a friend. The book is divided in 3 parts: Body, mind, and heart, and in each one, Khloé tells us about her own struggles and overcoming them, while giving us tips and motivation. Although I'm not a fan of these kind of books (nor all the Kardashians), this was a easy-read, and it left me with some positive thoughts I hope I can apply to my daily life.

I picked this up because I'm a huge (and unashamed) Kardashian fan, and Khloe has long been my favorite of the family. A fairly standard book on diet/exercise/mental health, Khloe brings in a number of professionals to help her offer the advice to her readers. The best part, by far, are the anecdotal stories Khloe tells and the story of her "come back", so to speak, from a place of darkness to a place of light after her divorce from Lamar Odom. It's not going to revolutionize what you know about health and fitness, but it may give you a kick in the pants - it did for me - and definitely gets more behind the life of a private woman who has spent her life on TV.

Prior to picking up this book, I didn't have any preconceived notions; I didn't think it would be the Holy Grail for fitness tips, nor did I think it would be a particularly difficult read. I admit I watch the Kardashian shows for mindless entertainment, but I definitely enjoy Khloe's personality so I knew this would be an enjoyable read with some access into her mindset. This book takes you on her journey. While not in-depth, it touches upon why she chose to make different decisions and get to know herself for her own personal wellbeing. This book rings like a pep talk, or a chat you would have with your best friend when you are feeling down. Each page oozes with positive messaging. Though she is no philosopher, you can tell she believes in the power of positive thinking and positive action. It was inspiring, as mentioned before, and dare I say a little motivating.

I don't know why I read these things. I really don't. This actually starts out in a voice that is not just tolerable but actually kind of fun. But then it becomes saccharine and clichéd to the max and just ugh ugh ugh why do I always read this junk

Khloe is the only Kardashian I have any patience for. However, this book could have EASILY have been reduced to a 20-page essay/short story, and conveyed exactly as much useful (or even interesting) information. I mean, what haven't we heard before? There are no revelations she has to share about herself that are new. And the content of this book is basically all very easy to guess at on one's own: be positive. drink water. exercise. Eat well (and not much). Take lots of selfies. [etc] I'm sure if Khloe is the only Kardashian I have any patience for. The chefs and trainers and motivational life coaches (or whatever) don't hurt either. Eh.

If you are looking for gossip and autobiographical info, this isn't the book to read. This is a book about Exercise, Diet and improving your attitude. I really think Khloe has a good head on her shoulders and she gives some very straight forward advice about how to become strong. A great read for teen girls, in my opinion, especially those that look up to the Kardashian Klan.

I will come straight out and say it. I like the Kardashians. Im no a superfan, I don’t have posters on my walls, or queue for hours to see them, but I watch the programmes from time to time, and I follow them on social media. So when I got this book for Christmas I was ready to dive in. I’m naturally quite a quick reader so it didn’t take me long to finish the book, and I’m glad it didn’t. That, and the fact I didn’t spend my money on it (Sorry mum, you wasted yours) are about the only positives I will come straight out and say it. I like the Kardashians. That, and the fact I didn’t spend my money on it (Sorry mum, you wasted yours) are about the only positives I can take from this book. The whole book is about Khloe Kardashian’s journey to be in a better place both mentally and physically. Many people write about their journeys of wellbeing and really do help people to achieve their own goals. The only way I can see this book helping people to achieve their goals, is if they can afford a personal trainer, fill their fridge with flavoured bottled water and quite frankly be bothered to read the parts of the book which include industry advice (although these parts are few and far between). Most of the book is long winded, with multiple paragraphs covering the same issues over and over again. I felt at time that the words were being written to fill a word count rather than to actually achieve anything. I will say that the book repeatedly says that this journey will not be the best for everyone, its personal preference and ability which I find refreshing, as so many books seem to try and create a one size fits all mentality to weight loss. But then it goes straight back in to what works for her (Khloe Kardashain). This book is by far more of an investment than buying sister Kim Kardashians book – ‘Selfie’ (Who’s pictures are at least in colour). But it is not a book I will be recommending for people to draw inspiration from. Live Love Laugh FP View more reviews on my blog https://youbyyou.wordpress.com/

I'm at a 2.5 on this. As a unashamed Kardashian fan I really wanted to like this book and while the conversational tone wasn't bad and it was a very breezy read I also didn't feel like there was enough substance for a self improvement book.

I’ll admit it, I’ve always liked Khloe Kardashian. A bit brash but always honest and caring and seemingly the most “normal” of the Kardashian klan. (See what I did there with the K alliteration?) I thought this book would be about her transformation to getting healthy and some insights to that mental journey as well. That isn’t what this book is. This book seems to imply that she really didn’t have too many issues in terms of eating or exercise and just had to focus a little more.(Much of the I’ll admit it, I’ve always liked Khloe Kardashian. I’m also sick of all of these clean eating/paleo, organic diet books. She’s another one on the bandwagon of eat only vegetables and lean protein (low carbs and no dairy) and I don’t believe those sorts of limitations on your nutrition are a long-term fix. Organic vegetables have the same amount of calories as traditionally-grown ones. I guess when you have Kardashian money you can buy $20 kale-infused water from Whole Foods but for the normal people who also can’t afford the trainer to the stars, this book has no value.

This book carried the tone of conversation with a friend/ introspective reflection. I appreciated the wisdom and platitudes that Khloe offered throughout and how she connected to what she was saying through her own experiences. This book is a lighthearted self help, motivational pep talk. There were a few errors, but you can say the same about plenty of books. To quote a sentiment from this book "nobody is perfect". I'm so glad I didn't waste money purchasing this book. All Khloé did was repeat herself line after line. I do watch the show every week, but this book was torture to read. The writing, the repetition, the clichés, all of it. If you must find out for yourself, get it free at library!

Khloe's book comes off like she's one of your close friends. She writes similarly to how she talks. I found it comforting to hear her good and bad times all in a positive light. We all can enter dark periods and react in poor ways, but she discusses how she overcomes that.

This book inspired me to begin working out again and becoming a better person. I didn't realize that this book would be a kick starter for me to rethink my life, but it was. This was excellently written and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a story to inspire them!!

I really appreciated this book, Khloe did a good job mixing advice in with discussing her life. Sure some of the advice was a little generic but there's a reason it's generic is that it's good advice.

I always find it hard to review these types of books, because how can you rate somebody's personal journey on a scale of 1-5 stars?? You just can't. Or maybe you can/have, but I know I can't. You take their story for what it's worth, and either you've gained something from it or you haven't. I personally enjoyed reading what Khloe had to say because it feels like you're listening to a friend. The way she talks in "real life" or on KUWTK is very similar to how this book is written. I personally enjoyed reading what Khloe had to say because it feels like you're listening to a friend. The way she talks in "real life" or on KUWTK is very similar to how this book is written. She offers some very insightful tips on how to get yourself on track physically, mentally, and emotionally. Unlike other inspirational books on weightless and self improvement, she doesn't claim to have all the answers, nor does she push any weight-loss gimmicks. She presents a very straightforward and easy to understand lesson plan of sorts. When it comes down to it we all know what we need to do to be the best versions of ourselves we can possibly be, but sometimes it helps hearing somebody else put it all into perspective and that's what this book did for me. So if you picked up Strong Looks Better Naked in the hopes that Khloe would dish all her personal secrets, or those of her family you'll be greatly disappointed. Yes she does use certain situations to provide as examples but that's about it. I was more interested in what she had to say about her struggle than anything else so I wasn't the least bit disappointed. I also enjoyed the brief excerpts from Gunnar Peterson (trainer to the stars), Dr. Philip Goglia (nutritionist), and Pastor Brad Johnson. They helped further emphasize the points she was trying to make. Knowing how much Khloe admires and respects them, and the fact that they've each played a major part in getting her to where she wants to be, makes their input invaluable. This is one of the first self-help type books that I've finished in a day. Usually I lose interest and ending up quitting halfway through, but this one kept me interested from beginning to end. So I would say give it a try. It just may help you get (or stay) focused.

This book is about khloes diet, exercise and trying to get people to have a positive mind set. Khloe gives the reader straight forward advice. Parts of the book sound a bit unrelatable. I'm also certain exercise doesn't overcome every obstacle like she keeps mentioning. The first half of the book is a little repetitive. The second half is a lot better than the first part.

This book exceeded my expectations. I had more preach from a self help book but Khloe voice throughout the book is similar to talking with friends. While there were some dull parts most of it was witty and entertaining for the context. Overall a great read and A book I would recommend reading.

I chose this book because I saw it in the back of my closet and honestly couldn't even remember how it ended up in my house. Watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians is a guilty pleasure of mine. I have always watched the show with my older sister whenever there's nothing else on TV and I actually love learning about their lives. I thought it would be fun to learn even more about Khloe's in her book "Strong Looks Better Naked." This book is separated into three parts; mind, body, and heart. Khloe talks all about how to get motivated and healthy all while staying true to who you are. She shares how to set realistic goals and stick to them. She uses examples from her own life and the people around her in order to inspire the readers to change their lives for the better! I love how reading this book just feels like you're sitting on the couch talking to Khloe about all of your problems. She is straightforward in this book and just says it how it is, which I love! I also really like how she touches on the fact that her life isn't easy despite what everyone thinks. She really connects with the readers in this book by talking about her own personal struggles and how she overcame them in order to become the strong woman that she is today. As much as I like Khloe's advice and everything she has to say, I think this book is very repetitive. There were several times where I thought, "I swear she already said this a few pages back." I also would have loved to hear her talk a little more about her family and use even more personal experiences in the book. For the most part, I enjoyed this book but I have to say that I am sure there are better books out there that have the same general message.

I'm really not sure if I liked this book. I feel like it lacked depth, and I'm not sure why I expected different from something from the Kardashians. The second half was MUCH better than the first. Super easy read considering half of the book is pictures and quotes. Overall I enjoyed this book, and it was written as if she were sitting next to me chatting over wine. It was okay :)

Strong Looks Better Naked is a autobiography novel split into three sections about mind, body, and soul. The main character, who this book is all about, is Khloe Kardashian a 32 Year old woman who is famous for her beauty and reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She may seem perfect based off of today’s expectations that we have for famous people, but as you read in this book, you will realize she is just like us. She may seem perfect based off of today’s expectations that we have for famous people, but as you read in this book, you will realize she is just like us. When she was younger she went through the same issues that many kids face today, divorced parents. As she gets a little bit older she finds herself to struggle with her weight and self confidence. These are issues that many people, and more than we think, face. However, there are also some interesting aspect of this book. You will find out interesting facts as well as behind the scenes information about herself. Overall, I loved this story and I thought it was an interesting book to read. The writing style of this book would sometimes seem fake, as if Khloe didn’t write it. Most of the writing style seemed like it was something that she might say. Sometimes the writing style of this book could come off a little bit exaggerated. Overall, it was a good writing style in my opinion because it kept me interested in the book. This book is definitely a change of pace from the typical book most people would read and I think that is why I enjoyed it so much. I had a personal connection with this book because I watch their TV show and I enjoy it a lot. Also this book is very relatable because we all have those times where we feel down about ourselves and we lose self esteem. This book will kind of give you some tips about how to improve yourself to make yourself feel happy again. Another side note why this book is so interesting because it has a little bit of hidden humor that you can read about in the novel. I found this book to be a little bit silly at some parts of the book and other parts of the book to have some good tips and advice. I personally found the tips to be helpful for me and I learned some new things that I hadn't known before. One of my favorite aspects of this book was how even if there was a slow part that wasn’t interesting, there was always a good part that would satisfy anyone's liking, such as the interesting quotes from various famous people. I would recommend this book to anyone who is really looking forward to a different book then what they would normally read. This book is definitely all over the place and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is sick and tired of reading a basic fictional book or if you are just a big Kardashian fan, just like me. I believe that anyone who is interested in reading this book will find it just as interesting as I do.
